Man from Germany scratches 260 cars.

German police in the southwestern German city of Karlsruhe have arrested a man who admitted to scratching and damaging about 260 cars.

In Karlsruhe, the center of Germany’s highest criminal and constitutional court where mostly expensive cars had been parked.

The 28-year-old man turned himself in to the police and confessed to the acts he committed. The damage caused to the cars is estimated at over half a million euros.

The cars were damaged last weekend, and this man showed that he simply envied the owners of the cars and that “he had problems of a similar nature” among other things, it was said in the police report.

The suspect is already known to the security authorities, after he was released from prison in July last year for other offenses.
