L.A. Chargers are not going to stop!

The Bolts were nowhere near done after their big-time trade for Khalil Mack.

The Los Angeles Chargers are expected to finalize an enormous contract with pending free agent and former New England Patriots cornerback J.C. Jackson, according to multiple reports. He will join the Chargers on a five-year, $82.5 million deal.

L.A. also acquired outside linebacker and Pro Bowl pass-rusher Khalil Mack in a trade over the last week. They also armed their young quarterback Justin Herbert by retaining receiver Mike Williams. It seems the Chargers are continuing on their upward trajectory.

After sealing the deal with cornerback J.C. Jackson, the Chargers are bolstering the trenches.

The Chargers are expected to sign former Giants defensive tackle Austin Johnson.

After spending the first four years of his career with the Titans, who drafted him in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft, Johnson spent the past three seasons with New York, in which he did not miss a single game.

After serving as a rotational defender, Johnson became a full-time starter in 2021 and had a monster year with 72 combined tackles while adding 37 run stops, 22 quarterback pressures, 3.5 sacks, and 7 QB hits.
