Kremlin reacts after Biden calls Putin “butcher”.

US President Joe Biden’s comments about Russian President Vladimir Putin “narrow the window” for improving relations.

This was the reaction of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, after the American president described his Russian counterpart as a “butcher” during a visit to Poland.

“Ultimately, the head of state must remain cautious,” Peskov said.

“Each time, such personal insults ‘narrow the window of opportunity’ for our bilateral relations under the current (US) administration. “We must be aware of this,” he added.

Otherwise, Biden called his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin a “butcher” while on a trip to Poland where he met Ukrainian ministers and refugees.

The US president met with Ukrainian civilians who had fled the besieged city of Mariupol in Ukraine to Poland.

When asked what made he thought of Russian President Putin while meeting Ukrainian refugees, he replied: “He is a butcher.”

Otherwise, US President Joe Biden had said days ago that he believes that Russian leader Vladimir Putin “is a war criminal” the cause of the attacks in Ukraine.
