Klitschko confirms new attack in Kiev.

Although the Russian army has withdrawn from Kiev and warned that it will focus on eastern Ukraine, new grenades fell in Kiev, and sirens warning of airstrikes were also heard in Lviv.

The blasts took place in the Ukrainian capital, and the bombings were confirmed by the mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, who said that this morning they were the target of airstrikes.

He specified that the explosions took place in Darnicki Square on the outskirts of Kiev. Rescue teams have arrived at the scene, however it is not yet known if there are any injured or dead.

The local media report that the Russians have hit the missile factory, which the Ukrainians used to sink the Russian warship “Moskva”.

In addition to Kiev, explosions were also heard in Lviv in the western part of Ukraine, where to date military activities have not been frequent.

Analysts consider the attacks in these two cities, a revenge for the sinking of the pride of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea. Meanwhile, the Pentagon has confirmed Ukraine’s claims that it fired a missile at the Russian warship.
