Joe Biden will not travel to Kiev at this time.

The White House has said that US President Joe Biden is not planning to travel to Ukraine immediately after the visit of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

“Currently we are not planning a trip of the President of the United States to Ukraine,” said Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

Over the weekend, British Prime Minister Johnson visited the streets of the capital Kiev with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

European Union chief Ursula von der Leyen also visited Kiev and Bucha.

During a last-minute visit to Europe last month, Biden told aid workers he would like to visit Ukraine to take a closer look at the situation.

The White House had said before the trip that they had not explored any visit to Ukraine. Since then, Russian forces have withdrawn from the area around Kiev.

The Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, who met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow today, also recently visited Kiev.
