It is unclear if there is a convoy outside Kiev.

At the beginning of the aggression in Ukraine, a convoy of Russian vehicles stretching about 65 kilometers was photographed as it was supposed to be heading towards the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.

This stalled after the Russian occupation lost pace, and today the Pentagon has admitted that it is unclear whether that column still exists or not.

“I do not even know if it still exists at this point… They have never really fulfilled their mission,” said Pentagon spokesman John Kirby.

The column became a symbol of Russian difficulties on the battlefield earlier during the aggression and was constantly attacked by Ukrainian forces during the first weeks.

Meanwhile, Kirby said that the US wants Ukraine’s borders to be respected as before the aggression began on February 24.

He added that it seems that Russia is giving priority to taking over the eastern Donbas region.
