iPhone SE 4 gets an even bigger screen

The discontinuation of the iPhone mini model meant that the iPhone SE would be the only option for those who wanted a smaller iPhone. But it looks like that’s about to change.

Apple is already planning to add a larger screen to the iPhone SE. This also means that the iPhone SE will get bigger, according to analyst Ross Young, and will have a 6.1-inch screen.

However, the iPhone SE 4 won’t have the same approach as Apple’s premium models. It will keep the LCD panel and notch at the top of the screen, which will allow it to remain a more affordable alternative to the more expensive iPhone models.

Right now, it is not known if Apple plans to equip the next iPhone SE model with Face ID support, and if it happens, this sensor will be integrated into the aforementioned notch.

Apple will certainly offer biometric verification, so there’s a good chance that Face ID will also be implemented in the upcoming iPhone SE model.

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch in 2024, so Apple still has plenty of time to work out the details and possible changes it wants to bring with the new model.
