Graphics card prices continue to fall during April.

The GPU market is slowly continuing to recover from rising prices. April is another consecutive month during which the prices of AMD and Nvidia graphics cards are falling in Europe.

According to 3DCenter, which monitors and publishes the movement of GPU prices in Germany and Austria, it is noted that graphics cards have not been cheaper lately than now. The average price for the Radeon RX 6000 GPU is now 12 percent higher than the recommended retail price, while for the Nvidia RTX 30 GPU it is now 19 percent higher.

In addition to all of the above, the availability of AMD and Nvidia graphics cards has also reached record levels, most likely because users are awaiting the latest wave that should bring prices closer to the recommended retail price.

GPU prices have been falling steadily since December and if the decline continues, it is expected to return to normal by May. Some AMD cards are already available at a reasonable price and this includes the Radeon RX 6500XT, RX 6600 and RX 6900XT models. Of course, there is always room for improvement, especially when it comes to Radeon RX 6800 cards.

In the Nvidia ecosystem, the situation is still not so good, but it is giving signs of progress. So, RTX 3080 tickets can be found at prices close to those recommended at retail, but if you want some other models from the RTX 30 series, you will have to be patient for a while.
