France will stop exporting electricity to Italy

France

Italy may be forced to go without French electricity for several years, from which it imports 5 percent of its annual needs.

It has been reported in the media that refer to a communication issued by the French electricity giant EDF, with the operators of the Italian network and with the Ministry of Ecological Transition.

Meanwhile, France continues to implement a series of measures against expensive energy.

After the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Hotel de Ville in Versailles, the pyramid of the Louvre will also be in the dark: the lights that illuminate the monument will be turned off at 11:00 p.m.

The decision was announced by the Minister of Culture, Rima Abdul Malaku.

A measure that follows similar measures imposed by the mayor of the French capital Anne Hidalgo.
