The global energy crisis will hit the UK economy harder than those of other powerful countries in the world, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development has said.

According to its latest report, compared to other countries that make up the group of seven most industrialized countries (G7), the British economy will be the most affected.

In addition to Britain, the G7 includes the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan, writes Radio Free Europe.

Economic growth in the United States and the Eurozone will be weak, but Germany is another powerful country whose economy is expected to shrink.

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development has predicted a “significant slowdown in economic growth” worldwide in 2023.

According to her, global growth is expected to be 2.2 percent.
