A man found a package of cocaine worth $150,000 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

According to foreign media, as soon as he found the drug, the Australian notified the police.

The news was announced by the head of the Miami Customs and Border Protection patrol, Agent Walter N. Slosar, in a tweet where he said that 11 kilograms of cocaine was found inside a suspicious package.

He explained that after the discovery, the large quantity of drugs was seized by the border control. This is not the first time that large amounts of cocaine have recently washed up on Florida beaches.

On October 10, Agent Slosar said 30 kg of cocaine was seized on the beach in Brevard County, directly south of Volusia.

In late July, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a package of what was suspected to be cocaine among Mangrove in Tavernier in the Florida Keys. The package weighed 72 kilograms.
