Another suspicious death in Russia, a colonel was found hanged

Another suspicious death has been registered in Russia. It is about Colonel Roman Mali, engaged in recruiting and sending reservists to Ukraine, who was found hanging on a fence.

Although it was initially reported that a heart attack was the cause of death, the police did not rule out the possibility of murder or suicide.

After Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine, a series of suspicious deaths of wealthy Russians and high-ranking officials of this country have been recorded.

Thus, Putin’s top man for the development of Arctic resources, Ivan Pechorin, allegedly fell into the sea while sailing along the Pacific coast. He was the general director of the Putin Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.

Former Moscow Aviation Institute official Anatoly Gerashenko allegedly slipped and fell down the stairs in the institute building where he died from his injuries.

The chairman of the board of Russian oil producer Lukoil, Ravil Maganov, died in early September from an alleged fall from a hospital window in Moscow. Maganov has worked for an oil company since 1993, and his brother is the head of another Russian oil producer, Tatneft.

Russian millionaire Yuri Voronov, who was linked to Gazprom, was found dead in early July in the pool of his villa on the outskirts of St. Petersburg. His body was found floating in the pool with a gunshot wound to the head, while shell casings were found at the bottom of the pool.

The former executive director of Lukoil, Alexander Subotin, was found dead on May 10 at his home in Mitischi, a city northeast of Moscow. Investigations had begun, despite the fact that Subotin had allegedly “suffered a heart attack”.

Vladislav Avayev was found dead in his Moscow apartment on April 18, with a gunshot wound. His wife and 13-year-old daughter were also found dead. Avayev was a former vice president of Gazprombank. Investigators believe he shot his wife and daughter and then committed suicide.

Russian billionaire Vasily Melnikov was found dead in his apartment in Nizhny Novgorod, and Russian media reported that he, his wife and two sons, aged four to ten, had been stabbed to death.

The executive director of Gazprom, Alexander Tyuliakov, was found dead on February 25 in the garage of his apartment in St. Petersburg. The police announced that near his body they found a letter talking about suicide. Tyuliakov was allegedly severely beaten before his death.

Another director of Gazprom, Leonid Shulman, was found dead in his villa in January this year, a month before the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In a farewell letter found near his body, it is said that he does not want to be an invalid and a burden to his family.
