6.6 magnitude earthquake hits the Philippines

An earthquake with a destructive power of 6.6 on the Richter scale hit the Philippine island of Luzon today, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) announced.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 40 kilometers, it was announced, among other things, by the EMSC.

So far, there are no reports of eventual victims or material damages that may have been caused by this earthquake.

We remind you that earthquakes are not unusual in this country, as they are often hit and many victims are reported.

Tremors are reported to have been heard throughout the territory of the Philippines, and seismologists say they may have been felt in other neighboring states as well.
