A Ukrainian army pilot has managed to shoot down or destroy two missiles and an unmanned aerial vehicle before being ejected from his plane.
His photo in those moments, which was published on social networks, has become a hit on the Internet.
It is about Vadym Voroshylov, who was awarded the Hero of Ukraine medal or otherwise known as the golden star, because of the operations he had carried out over the Vinichka region on October 12.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky approved the decree on Monday for this title, which was given to the aforementioned pilot.
His photo, which was published on social networks, shows the pilot with his face covered in blood, who managed to escape the worst. He had taken the photo himself – so he took a selfie.
