Call of Duty League Twitch viewership on the opening weekend of the season has shown more interest than ever.
When the Call of Duty World League was franchised to CDL in 2019, the league’s streaming platform moved exclusively to YouTube.
For the last three years, CDL has been running only on YouTube and the viewership was not as big as it should have been.
The new season of the Call of Duty League has begun with its broadcast on the Twitch platform, where there has been great interest from viewers.
The peak viewership occurred on Sunday, during a match between the Florida Mutineers and Optic Texas, which was watched by almost 193,000 viewers according to EsportsCharts.
This was the first event of the 2023 CDL season, which serves as a qualifier for the first Major to be held on December 15-18, 2023.
