The German parliament has confirmed that the US will support the decision of the Bundestag regarding the delivery of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
It was reported that Germany may send 80 tanks to Ukraine, which were produced at the Rheinmetall and Krauss-Maffie factory.
Even the German parliament had promised that it can do this very soon, and now with the American support this thing seems to be a done deal.
We recall that Germany has recently sent Ukraine the advanced Iris-T missile system, as well as Gepard armored vehicles that are specialized in shooting down airplanes and drones.
However, German support for Ukraine at the beginning of the war was somewhat more subdued, due to the fact that the whole of Europe feared that such an action would only extend the war beyond Ukraine’s borders.
