Gennaro Gattuso has said that for a long time he was looking for a player who resembled the game he was playing, but he has finally found him.
In a recent interview, Rino said that Sofyan Amrabat amazed him with his performances in the World Championship with Morocco.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a player like me, but I saw him at the World Cup: Amrabat,” Gattuso said initially.
“It touched me a lot. He looked like me when I was playing at 27. The player’s life is better.”
“The way I live football, I have no life. I have to thank the woman who doesn’t know how she can stay with me. It is difficult, I start at 8:30 and go home at 19:00”, he added, sharing parts of his private life.
Gattuso is currently in charge of Valencia, who are tenth in La Liga with 19 points.
