The French defense minister went to Kiev to discuss the increase in military aid.
Sebastien Lecornu, the French minister of the armed forces, arrived in the Ukrainian capital today to discuss further military support for Kiev.
He also insisted that the government’s support for Ukraine is unwavering.
This came after Lecornu traveled to Poland, where he announced an agreement to sell two French-made military satellites to Poland.
Upon arriving in Kiev, the minister laid a wreath at a monument to heroes to honor Ukrainians who have died defending their country from Russian forces.
He was scheduled to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky. Lecornu is also expected to meet with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksy Reznikov and military officials.
