A large explosion in a restaurant in Aydin, Turkey, left seven people dead and four others injured, one in a serious condition.
The event took place in a restaurant on “Cipro” street, Nazilli neighborhood, around 2:30 p.m.
The explosion occurred as a result of an error during the replacement of a gas pipe in the restaurant’s kitchen.
A large number of firefighters have been sent to the scene and investigations have begun.
The Governor of Aydin, Huseyin Aksoy, confirmed that “seven people lost their lives and four others were injured”.
After the explosion, it was learned that two people who jumped from the second floor of the bar suffered minor injuries. The fire is already out.
