Water rushes down the main street of Molong after flooding

Molong, near Orange, Australia, has been engulfed by heavy rains this week, with residents forced to leave the area.

A large shipping container has been seen floating down the main road of a New South Wales town after being inundated by floodwaters.

Dozens of residents scrambled to find solutions Monday night as flash floods quickly rose to roof height.

About three-quarters of the historic city was damaged, with numerous roads damaged and a new hockey rink destroyed.

The waters are only now beginning to recede and Fire and Rescue teams have begun a massive clean-up.
