Ukraine is building fortification structures and installing a concrete fence on the border with Belarus.
The relevant statement was made by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymosheno on Telegram.
“At the moment, our people in the south are welcoming our army, while in the north other works are underway. Here, we are building a wall on the border with Belarus. A ditch, an embankment, a concrete fence reinforced with barbed wire – these are the obstacles being built in Volyn,” Tymoshenko noted.
According to him, about 3 kilometers of the border area have already been completed, while the construction works continue.
According to Tymoshenko, this is not all, but further details will not be revealed. The relevant works are carried out in Rivne region and Zhytomyr region.
It is also reported that fortifications are being built and border areas are being created in the regions bordering Russia.
