Juventus won 2-0 against Inter in the derby that took place within the 13th week in Serie A.
The first serious case was for Juventus, when Gelson Bremer in the 19th minute released a pass to Filip Kostic, but his shot went wide.
Edin Dzeko (26′) also had a good scoring opportunity, with his shot flying past the left post.
By the end of the first 45 minutes, the two teams showed increased caution, as Nicolo Barella made a pass to Denzel Dumfries (42′), but the Dutchman wasted the opportunity with an errant shot.
The second half got off to a frantic start, with the Old Lady managing to break the deadlock in the 52nd minute.
It was Adrien Rabiot who gave the Turinese the lead, with an assist from Filip Kostic.
Juventus then managed to score a second goal, but were unlucky – as VAR disallowed it for Danilo’s handball.
The Bianconeri did not give up, and doubled the result, now through Nicolo Fagioli, who scored in the 85th minute.
After the 13th week, Juventus is in fifth place with 25 points, while Inter has one less in seventh position.
In the 14th round, Juventus will have work with Verona, while Inter meets with Bologna.
