Moscow has been accused of “forced deportation” of children from the occupied parts of the southern Kherson region.

Similar accusations have been leveled against Russia throughout the war, with reports emerging of people being forcibly moved from occupied areas into Russia.

Yaroslav Yanushevich, head of the Kherson regional military administration, said 34 children had been “abducted” from a village in Myrna.

He claimed they were taken to the Russian city of Anapa.

In a statement, Yanushevich said: “The Russian invaders continue the forced deportation of our children from the Kherson region.

“The occupiers kidnapped 34 children from the village of Preobrazhenka, Myrna district, who were taken to the Russian city of Anapa.”

“This was reported by the head of the military administration of Myrna settlement, Valentina Holovata.

“The parents were promised that the children would return by the end of this week, but then the stay was extended for another week.
