The world of electric cars is filled with teasers of upcoming car announcements, sneak peeks, all sorts of weird stuff. Peugeot also decided to play the weirdness game.
On January 5, Peugeot will unveil its Inception concept, which will feature the first electric next-generation “BEV by design” platform, Peugeot’s first not to be shared with internal combustion vehicles.
This isn’t the first announcement regarding the Inception, however – the upcoming concept was initially announced at the Paris Motor Show in October. But now it’s almost ready to be released.
The Peugeot Inception EV concept will be unveiled at CES in Las Vegas. CES is the world’s largest technology trade show, and we understand that Peugeot wants to be associated with that, but Peugeot doesn’t sell its cars in the US. He doesn’t even intend to.
Just when we thought we’ve seen all the weirdness possible, Peugeot decides to go one step further. Chapeau, as they say in France.
Peugeot reckons the Inception will “turn the automotive experience upside down”, hopefully that doesn’t mean the wheels will be on the roof.
The concept is said to embody the brand’s core values: Allure, Emotion and Excellence.
