Court

A court in the Netherlands, in its latest verdict, found that Russia had control over separatists in eastern Ukraine, where a Malaysian Airlines plane crashed in 2014, killing all 298 people on board.

It is about the Russians Igor Girkin, Sergey Dubinski and Leonid Harchenko, who had the main role in the downing of the plane

We recall that the plane with the number MH17 was flying from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, towards Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, when it crashed.

The presiding judge, Hendrik Steenhuis, read out the verdict for the three Russian separatists and one Ukrainian accused of mass murder and their role in the downing of the plane.

The court also found that the Buk missile system, which was manufactured in Russia, was used to bring down the plane with full passengers.
