The train hits the bus and splits it in two

Train

A passenger train in Bergen op Zoom, Netherlands, has been filmed hitting an empty bus and splitting it in two in the middle of the tracks.

The video was made by Ronald Groffen, where it can be seen how the train, which was moving fast, hits the bus, splitting it into two parts.

After this incident, Groffen had a conversation with the bus driver, who is seen at the beginning of the video trying to alert the train driver before he hit the bus.

According to the driver of this bus, he was sending the motor vehicle for service and that was the reason why the bus was empty.

However, it remains unclear how he ended up stopped in the middle of the tracks, or if he tried to cross the tracks while the traffic light was red.
