Real suffers its first defeat in the Group

RB Leipzig has managed to inflict its first defeat on Real Madrid (3-2) in the group stage of the Champions League.

Josko Guardiol used a returned ball to unlock the result with a header (13′).

It didn’t take long and the locals scored the second goal, the scorer was Christopher Nkunku (18′).

Before the teams went to the break, Vinicius Junior narrowed the score after a precise cross from Marco Asensio (44′).

In the second half, the locals also scored the third goal through Timo Werner (81′), who was assisted by Mohamed Simakan.

Another goal for Los Blancos was scored by Rodrygo in the extra minutes (90’+4), being accurate from the penalty spot.

Qualified Real Madrid is the leader of Group F with ten points, while RB Leipzig has one point less and with a draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in the last round will qualify further.
