Karim Benzema has won the Ballon d’Or for the first time in his career, being an undisputed favorite after the great achievements he had with Real Madrid and the French national team.
The French striker has beaten off competition from Sadio Mane, Kevin de Bruyne and Robert Lewandowski, to be followed by the ranking of other players.
Benzema won the biggest award for a deserving player, as his achievements in the previous edition speak for themselves.

2 Champions League hat-tricks (against PSG and Chelsea) –
