Google Meet will soon send meeting transcripts to users

Google has announced a number of new features for Workspace, including one that will be very useful for those who want to save conversations from meetings.

Users can already save Google Meet calls as video files, but soon they’ll also receive transcripts of their meetings in Google Docs.

The feature will be available for English starting this week, while support for French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese will arrive next year.

Also, this feature comes after the expansion of live translation for those languages.

Later this month, Google will offer a Meet feature to automatically center meeting participants in their window even before they join the call, but manual adjustment will also be enabled.

Additionally, Google Chat also gets new features including emoticon customization, as well as a space for one-way streaming and information sharing with the entire team.
