Elon Musk’s proposal for peace in Ukraine

After the news that Russian President Vladimir Putin has requested that four occupied regions of Ukraine join Russia, there have been numerous reactions from politicians and other public figures from various fields.

Among them is the American billionaire Elon Musk, who on his Twitter profile opened a survey through which he seeks the opinion of the users of this network, that the desire of the people living in Donbas and Crimea should be asked and they decide whether they want to be part of Russia or Ukraine.

In this poll, he asked his followers and users of this network in general to vote in the poll for and against, and in the end see how the mass voted.

“Russian-Ukrainian peace: To repeat the elections in the annexed regions under the supervision of the United Nations. Russia leaves if this is the will of the people. Crimea is officially part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 (until Khrushchev’s mistake). Ensure water supply for Crimea. Ukraine remains neutral,” says Musk’s post.

On the other side was Musk who, at the beginning of the war in Ukraine, helped the citizens of this country to have access to the Internet after the destruction of the infrastructure after the Russian attacks.

It was the company that he manages, Starlink, that provided the satellite service, so as not to leave the residents there in the dark.
