A grandmother was swallowed alive by a 7-metre python in Indonesia after going into the jungle to collect mushrooms.
Jahrah, 54, went missing on Friday night in the jungle near her family home in Jambi province on the western part of Sumatra island.
The search and rescue teams were immediately activated and after two days they found a python, in whose stomach the grandmother had ended up.
The village headman Anto said the python strangled the woman by using its body to suffocate her.
This grandmother died in agony, where the python took over two hours to swallow her whole.
After opening the body of the python, they found the lifeless body of the woman who had the fate of many Indonesians, who suffer from pythons every year.
