The CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg has presented the new Artificial Intelligence platform, which he says contains over 150 thousand projects.
According to him, researchers, programmers, will become part of the project led by Meta researchers.
“Some AI news: we’re moving PyTorch, the open source Artificial Intelligence framework led by Meta researchers, to become a project run under the Linux Foundation,” he wrote on his Facebook profile.
“PyTorch has become one of the leading Artificial Intelligence platforms with over 150,000 projects on GitHub built on this framework,” he added, among other things.
“The new PyTorch Foundation board will include many of the AI leaders who helped the community get to where it is today, including Meta and our partners at A.D., Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Nvidia.
I’m excited to continue building the PyTorch community and advancing Artificial Intelligence research,” Zuckerberg concluded.
