The White House has pledged to continue its support for Ukraine, while the Ukrainian army makes efforts to retake the territories that are under the control of the Russians.
White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre made these promises while condemning Russian airstrikes on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, which left many residents in Kharkiv without water and electricity.
“We will leave it to Ukraine to describe its operations, but it is clear that they are fighting hard to get back the occupied territories. We will continue to support Ukraine if it continues to defend democracy against Russian aggression”, said Jean-Pierre, among other things.
We recall that the United States has supplied Ukraine with numerous weapons worth billions of dollars – ranging from the highly accurate HIMARS missile system to advanced anti-radar missiles.
The counter-offensive recently started by the Ukrainians has already produced the first effects – Russian troops have begun to withdraw from many regions that they had kept under control since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
