A freight and passenger train collided near Novska, Croatia. It is suspected that there are many injured.
As the Croatian media learns unofficially, the passenger train passed a red light and hit a freight train, which was stopped.
According to the first information, the driver and the conductor have died.
“Around 21:35, a notification was received that a passenger train hit a freight train stopped in the city of Rajic. All emergency services are on the ground and are helping the injured”.
Otherwise, the Croatian Prime Minister, Andrej Plenkovic, is reported to have gone to the scene after receiving the information about the accident between the two trains.
