Thousands of people have gathered outside Buckingham Palace tonight to watch the arrival of the carriage carrying the coffin of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Prince Andrew and the Queen’s grandchildren are believed to be inside the royal residence.
The car was greeted with loud applause from those who had waited for hours in the rain to catch a glimpse of the late monarch.
He entered through the front gates of Buckingham Palace – to huge cheers from onlookers.
The Queen’s coffin will rest overnight in the vault.
