The Ferrari caught fire in a test drive with a customer

Test cars are an integral part of the car buying process, especially when it comes to collectibles. This video also shows that the test drive is important, no matter how it ends.

Tarek Salah had to travel a long way in search of his new car. From Los Angeles, he flew to Marseille to buy a classic Ferrari, the F355 model.

In the video, Tarek is going to a test in which he is in the passenger seat. At the same time he emphasizes that he has always dreamed of driving that Ferrari on French roads, which has already come true.

However, when driving on the highway, smoke starts coming out of the engine compartment and they immediately pull over to the side. The fire spread quickly and engulfed most of the cars by the time firefighters arrived

The unfortunate owner, despite years of care for his Ferrari, has experienced an accident that he did not expect. The 1994 silver Ferrari, despite its impeccable maintenance, suffered a breakdown that “changed” its fortunes.

Instead of continuing to ply the streets of Los Angeles, this beautiful car will surely end up in a junkyard. Salah said he doesn’t know what went wrong, but they suspect a fuel leak.

Namely, he also felt the smell of gasoline in the cabin while driving, just before the fire broke out.

He thought it was a normal situation when the fuel mixture has too much fuel. A few moments later, the driver of the neighboring car signaled to them that a lot of smoke was coming out of the car.

It’s really unfortunate, because the Ferraris were sent to the service center for a detailed inspection before purchase.

Salah could only conclude that the unfinished business will return, and the owner is left to mourn this very great loss. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
