Former Russian FSB agent and at the same time right-wing nationalist Igor Girkin, nicknamed Strelkov, told his friends in the telegram that Vladimir Putin could be overthrown due to major Russian losses in Ukraine.
In his latest post, Girkin said that the new comrade of war or even the economic one could bring Putin to his end.
“All that Putin needs to end is the outbreak of inflation or even any other military failure in Ukraine,” Girkin added. Recall that Girkin has recently stressed that Russia has already lost the war.
“We have already lost, there is only a matter of time,” he stated in early August.
Since the Russian occupation in Ukraine began, Girkin has published images by criticizing the movements of the Russian army and its management. He has also revealed details of political conflicts in the occupied regions of Ukraine as well as within the Russian army.
The 51-year-old, who declared himself as a Russian nationalist, was an agent of the Russian Secret Service (FSB) from 1996 to 2013 in the Department of Anti-Terrorism.Girkin has fought against Chechens, and according to non -governmental organizations in Russia, he has participated in the abduction and killing of many Chechen civilians.
In 2014 it was in the spotlight when the war broke out between pro-Russian separatists and Ukrainians. So he gathered staff who armed in Crimea, where by his order were organized referendums for the secession of Crimea from Ukraine.
These referendums were kept under the threat of the weapon, as all those who opposed it ended up in the casket.
After the referendum he left Crimea, but again returned to Ukraine, this time in Donetsk – again to collect staff he armed. His team took control of the premises of the local authorities and announced the formation of the DNR.
He was even for a while he was Minister of Defense at DNR. After the conflict with the local DNR leaders has returned to Russia. Girkin is suspected to be related to the crash of the Malaysian commercial plane, which resulted in 298 passengers, while Haga accuses him of the offense.
Haga demands that he be sentenced to life imprisonment, and the Ukraine trial is demanding for many other offenses.
