After almost joining West Ham in the summer, Jacub Kiwior has continued to impress with Spezia, attracting serious interest from Milan.
The 22-year-old Pole is one of the most exciting youngsters in Serie A at the moment, excelling with the Ligurian side as he plays well as a centre-back and defensive midfielder.
West Ham submitted a bid for the Kiwior in the summer and were just one step away from securing his signature before things stalled, with Roma also in the running.
Milan are also big fans of the Kiwior and had plenty of discussions with the 22-year-old while negotiating Daniel Maldini’s loan move to the club during the summer transfer window.
The Reds are closely following the Polish defender’s development in Liguria, but they are yet to make any bids, waiting to see how well Malick Thiaë adapts to life in Lombardy.
The 21-year-old arrived from Schalke for around €6m in the summer and is yet to make his debut under Stefano Pioli.
