German player faveN will miss the CS:GO Major in Brazil

The German team BIG will play in the absence of Josef “⁠faveN⁠” Baumann due to the player’s health problems.

Competition for Team BIG will begin on October 4th at the qualifying tournament for the CS:GO Major in Brazil.

Faven will be replaced by Team BIG academy player Elias “⁠s1n⁠” Stein.

The BIG team is part of the Europe RMR B group, and they will play their first match against the Sangal team on October 4.

BIG have not confirmed the reason for the 20-year-old’s absence, saying simply that it was “a medical situation that requires him to rest at home”.

Elias “s1n” enters BIG’s main roster after having excellent performances for the academy team in recent months, helping the team to a second place finish at Fragadelphia 17 and a third place finish at the WePlay Academy League Season 5.
