Archaeologists have found bone and obsidian tools, beads and other ornaments at the Sircalitepe Mound site, which is located in central Turkey.
According to foreign media, this settlement dates back to 9300 years ago.
It was archeology Semra Balci of the University of Istanbul and her colleagues, who discovered the inhabited place thousands of years ago.
Team members also identified an area where the obsidian, likely sourced from the nearby volcanic region of Cappadocia.
“No other site has been excavated so far with an obsidian working area and settlement together,” she claimed.
