Umbrella pierced woman’s chest in South Carolina.
A South Carolina woman has died after suffering fatal injuries when a Myrtle Beach beach umbrella lodged in her chest.
The umbrella stuck to his chest. It was the strong winds that lifted the tent in the air that hit Tami Pero, who was on the beach in Garden City in South Carolina.
Pero, 63 years old, died at one o’clock in the hospital room. Beach umbrellas have a sharp end that is designed to be embedded deep into the ground.
On the other hand, the federal agency estimates that about 3,000 people are injured annually by these umbrellas.
U.S. Senators Tim Kane and Mark Worner of Virginia have asked the safety agency to investigate safety issues surrounding the use of these umbrellas on beaches, and launch a campaign, after a rain umbrella killed a woman in Virginia in 2016.
