UEFA has issued a serious warning to Paris Saint-Germain as the French club have been found in breach of Financial Fair Play for the past three years.
European football’s governing body has given the Ligue 1 side three years to rectify the situation and fix their bottom line.
It is reported that PSG has lost more than 30 million euros in each of the last three years. The club of Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe are not only at risk of financial sanctions, but also in terms of sports.
This would happen if the situation is not rectified by PSG.
However, it should be noted that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is also president of the European Club Association (ECA), and thus works side by side with UEFA.
The football body has sent a letter to PSG and Marseille, among others, warning them of the situation they are in and the risk of consequences if they do not reduce their losses.
