Thousands of cars are in long queues outside Enerhodar, Ukraine, after the town’s mayor warned that Russia could launch attacks on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
The mayor of the Ukrainian city, Dmytro Orlov, warned the citizens that the information he received is in the wake of the provocations of the occupiers.
We recall that recently the Russian forces have frequently bombarded the vicinity of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, inciting fear among citizens that there may be a leak of radioactive waste.
And this warning of the local authorities of Ukraine, comes at a time when former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev warned European leaders that the largest nuclear power plant on the Old Continent could suffer an “accident”.
Western countries have warned of another possible nuclear disaster if Russian forces stationed at this nuclear plant start shelling.
Even according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Putin is blackmailing the world by placing mines around Zaporizhzhia.
