Pentagon announces military assistance package for Ukraine.
The Pentagon has announced an additional military package for Ukraine, worth 550 million dollars.
This military assistance, which has been carried out by the United States, includes ammunition as well as missiles of various calibers for modern missile systems, which have been provided earlier.
“Today, the Department of Defense has announced the authorization received from the president, for another package of military assistance worth 550 million dollars, dedicated to the Ukrainian army.
This authorization for sending weapons is the 17th in the Biden administration,” the Pentagon statement said.
So far, the United States has helped Ukraine with various weapons, amounting to 8.8 billion dollars since the beginning of the Russian occupation of this country.
Since 2014, the US has helped this country in the field of security with over 10 billion dollars.
And to meet the needs of the Ukrainian army, the US and its allies have pledged to continue with this military assistance.
