From the floods caused by heavy rains in the entire territory of Pakistan, more than 1 thousand people have lost their lives and thousands more have been injured and displaced.

These figures were published a day after the country’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif asked for international help.

More than 33 million people have been displaced, and the government declared a state of emergency to deal with floods that began in June and continue to wreak havoc in Pakistan.

In the government report published the day before, 45 people lost their lives from the floods from Friday until today.

Local media reports that the Kach dam near the city of Ziarat has burst as a result of heavy rains – endangering the lives of thousands of people.

Videos shared on social networks show bridges, roads and hotels floating in water, and people running to evacuate their homes.

On the other hand, the army has gone to the field to help the residents in the areas most affected by these floods.

The Pakistani Ministry of Climate Change has called the situation “a humanitarian disaster of epic proportions caused by climate change”.
