Paris Saint-Germain have officially signed Fabian Ruiz from Napoli in a deal believed to be worth €21.5m plus bonuses.
The Ligue 1 side announced the Spaniard’s transfer, as did Napoli, in official statements this evening.
The player has signed a five-year contract until June 2027.
Fabian Ruiz was in the final year of his contract with Napoli and had rejected a deal extension, so he had to be sold this summer to avoid losing him for free.
The 26-year-old Spaniard was signed by Real Betis in July 2018 for €30m, a move sought by then manager Carlo Ancelotti and his son Davide.
He made 166 appearances for Napoli, contributing 22 goals and 15 assists.
