Bayern Munich are interested in Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
De Jong is resisting Manchester United’s attempts to move him to England, but Bayern Munich have stepped in to offer him an alternative exit.
The Spanish media write that Bayern Munich wants to take him on loan during the season with an option to buy – similar to the agreement reached for Philippe Coutinho, two seasons ago.
Bayern Munich would pay a hefty loan fee for De Jong and also cover his wages for the season. If a deal can be reached, the player’s departure would be enough to sign Jules Kounde to La Liga.
At Bayern Munich he would also find his best friend, Matthijs de Ligt, who made the move from Juventus at the beginning of this summer. But the Spanish media write that Barcelona is unlikely to accept this agreement.
