Accident at an amusement park in Germany.
Two rollercoaster trains crashed into each other at a Legoland amusement park in southern Germany on Thursday, injuring at least 31 people, two of them seriously.
A train braked hard and another train collided with it in the park at Guenzburg.
Three helicopters were deployed to the scene, along with fire and rescue services.
It was not immediately clear why the crash happened. The incident happened at the Fire Dragon station, a spokesperson for the park told DPA.
Last week a woman died in another roller coaster accident in Germany, at an amusement park in Klotten.
The 57-year-old woman fell from the moving wheelchair and died as a result of her injuries. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
Otherwise, an “adventure” has gone wrong at a UK amusement park when a piece of equipment collapsed, leaving two people injured.
