Two people died Saturday after their single-engine airplane crashed near a restaurant in Illinois.
The plane crashed around 12:30 p.m. on Route 116 in Hanna City, about 180 miles south of Chicago.
Peoria County officials said the man and woman on board, who have not yet been identified, were killed and autopsies will be performed Monday.
The plane hit several buildings before plunging to the ground and coming to rest on a street near a restaurant packed with customers, the newspaper reported.
No one else was reported injured in the fatal crash, police said.
Otherwise, justice officials went to the scene and started investigations.
