The price of an oil barrel in the international market falls.
Oil prices fell below $105 in international markets today as fears prevailed again among traders that an economic slowdown will hit demand for oil, leaving tight supplies in the background.
On the London market, the price of a barrel for September delivery after noon was $1.62 lower than yesterday’s close and reached $104.65.
We remind you that yesterday it closed with a gain of 5.11 dollars. In the US market, a barrel is trading today at a lower price of $1.87, from $100.73.
In a separate report, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) announced today that a barrel of oil cost $108.76.
